Increasing Your Quality of Life

What would your life be like if you had more?  What’s your definition of more?  Are you wanting more love and acceptance in your life?  Are you wanting more money, more vacations, more happiness?  If you had these things, what would it look like?  How would you feel?  What makes you think you can’t have these things you are wanting?

Research shows the majority of people are not happy with their lives.  Isn’t that sad?  The only person keeping you from having the life you want is you.  What’s holding you back?  What limiting beliefs do you tell yourself and what behavior do you exhibit over and over again that does not produce the results you want?

First of all, you must feel good about yourself.  Work on your self-esteem and realize you do have personal power.  We’ve all suffered from feelings of inadequacy.  Maybe someone told you bad things about yourself and you believed them.  Forgive others and yourself.  You are the only one who has power over yourself.  We’re on this earth to learn lessons and that’s all it is.  Once you’ve learned the lesson, hopefully, you won’t have to experience it again.  Most of life is how you interpret it.

Feel good about yourself and work on it everyday until it becomes habit.  Comfort yourself in any way you can and you will increase your quality of life.

Rainy Days and Mondays

It’s rainy and cold out today and I am so sleepy.  You’d think it was Monday!  I’m sitting here with my laptop and working on my website,, drinking a freshly brewed cup of hot Green Tea.

Do you remember the song, “Rainy Days and Mondays” by The Carpenters?  The lyrics go like this: “Talkin‘ to myself and feeling old; Sometimes I’d like to quit; Nothing ever seems to fit; Hangin’ around, nothing to do but frown; Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.”  Yep!  That’s about how I’m feelin’ today.  How about you?

You know what?  It’s O.K. to feel like that once in a while.

I think I’ll go take a nap.  Wishing you a wonderful, comfy, and lovely day!

The Gift of Winter

As I sit here writing this post and drinking my coffee, I look outside and see the snow on the trees and roofs of the surrounding homes and just want to stay inside to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace. It’s the dead of winter, and I don’t feel like doing anything!

Maybe that’s the point. Maybe it’s a time to just lay low, reflect, and gear up for Spring. I knew there had to be reason for this somewhere. Maybe it’s time to just let go of all the old dead stuff that holds us back and plant some new seeds. It certainly gives us something to look forward to.

So, I will use this time to think about the seeds I want to plant that will bloom in May. Maybe that’s the message of the seasons.

Nature does it all so naturally. Maybe we should too!

So, when Thanksgiving is over, will you be heading to the mall at 4:00 in the morning?  Or, hitting the stores at midnight?  Now, with the internet, you don’t have to fight the traffic and the crowds.  Or, worse yet, fight for a parking place.  It can be frustrating and exhausting.

At, we are featuring our best down comforters at a special price….just for you, our guests.  We have our Light Warmth Down Comforters, our Medium Warmth Down Comforters, our SuperLoft Down Comforters, and our Stratus Down Comforters all at special Black Friday prices.
